Tokyo, japan (AP) – Honda Motor Co. finally has its own first product for that home full of its valued robotics technology — a sensor-outfitted lawnmower.

Miimo continues purchase the coming year, in just Europe, where spacious grass are frequently enclosed in gates, focusing on 4,000 unit sales annually.

The device, which looks a little like iRobot Corp.’s Roomba vacuum, continuously shaves about .one foot) from the grass, controlling itself on slopes. It will not break plants, would go to charge itself by itself and will not wander away.

Honda robots, like its Asimo walking speaking robot, have sometimes been belittled as not practical toys.

Honda stated Tuesday Miimo is indeed a product, selling for $2,600 to $3,000.
